Promote Products with LED Projectors

When you've come up with a quality product, the next logical, big step to take is to promote it. You might be trying to sell it to another retailer or directly to a customer, but in any case, you've got to get the word out and show what your product can do. Of course, there are a lot of ways to promote a product; from handing out samples in the mall to using social media, you should be taking advantage of several different forms of media. But if you've got to pitch this product to a crowd of people, you're going to need an entire presentation organized and a projector to show it off.

Start by putting together some sort of visual advertisement, whether it's a slideshow, a video demonstration, or a commercial. Then, find your audience.

Presenting for Real Estate
Having an LED projector available when selling real estate is a huge asset. You can begin by having a meeting with potential homebuyers and showing them slideshows of pictures of different properties. This way, they don't waste their time visiting properties they would have no interest in for one reason or another – plus it makes you look professional and put-together, which encourages customers to trust you. They can see in crystal-clear definition whether this home looks like something they'd consider buying. Then, you can narrow down the search and visit only the homes that your customers are truly interested in.

Presenting for Intangible Products or Services
Imagine you're trying to sell an investment plan, or an insurance policy, or an online marketing package. You can't physically show your potential client what you're going to give them, but you can demonstrate how much they'll save or why it's a good investment. You can use a projector to pitch these plans to a room full of people, using bulleted lists, calculations, payment schemes, and more to help the customer visualize the benefits. It's a lot easier and more engaging than simply talking a client's ear off, and they're more likely to pay attention and see the benefits.

Presenting for Large Products
You might not be able to drag a washer-dryer combo or furniture with you when you're attempting to sell it to someone, but you can definitely bring video of how well it works or how they look in the context of a room. Use your projector to show a video demonstration of you using the washer/dryer or scroll through pictures of the furniture. This makes it easier to pitch larger products while still being the one to come to the customer.

Necessary New Technologies for Every Small Business

Getting a business off the ground is an exciting but difficult time; while you look forward to what's to come, your budget is as small as it will likely ever be, and you've got to use it wisely. Having the right technology, especially in this day and age, is not something you can skimp on. There are far too many ways to take advantage of being connected, so when you're buying supplies for your new business, here are a few technological essentials you don't want to overlook.

Laptops instead of Desktops
Desktop computers are practical for a lot of reasons, but they're phasing out quickly. Laptops are far too useful to opt for anything else. You can take all your files with you on the road easily and even have employees work from home when you opt for this portable alternative.

Tablets
For some companies, tablets are even more convenient than laptops. This is especially so if you're going to be making sales or need to take pictures – tablets are like big cell phones with apps that can allow customers to swipe a credit card, keep receipts, upload pictures to various databases, and more. If all your traveling employees have a tablet, you'll have nothing to worry about.

VoIP Systems
VoIP service providers make it such that your phone line is available through your internet. This is great for cutting costs, since you don't have to worry about the price of a landline, and is especially ideal if your company makes a lot of international calls. Rather than paying those expensive fees or buying calling cards, you can call internationally with VoIP for quite literally pennies on the dollar – it's an invaluable investment.

Projectors
Once you've held a meeting or training session using a projector, you'll wonder how you ever went without. They're one of the most versatile pieces of equipment an office can have and are useful for everything from advertising to rewarding employees with movies and games. You can find lightweight, portable, and easy-to-store projectors for sale at prices that will fit easily into your budget without skimping on quality, which is always a plus.

Multimedia Projectors can Enhance Education

The field of education has undergone – and continues to undergo – a drastic change when it comes to the tools and resources educators can use to enhance the students' learning experience. Thanks to the influx of technological advancements, the classroom and grading system has become a much more interactive and streamlined experience. From online gradebooks for parents to view to the use of multimedia as a demonstration tool, there is much for teachers to take advantage of, if they choose to do so.

For that reason, a portable projector is one of the best investments a learning institution can make. Gone are the days in which teachers would make a slideshow presentation and send it by e-mail or print out the slides for students to reference. Now, teachers and students can review the visual material together, and students can take notes as necessary.

With a projector, teachers can easily bring up a relevant website, educational video, or image without having to do much pre-class preparation. They can easily power on the projector as these learning supplements come to mind and project them onto a screen rather than having dozens of students gather around a tiny computer screen.

On the Friday after a big exam, teachers can use projectors to positively re-enforce good study habits by rewarding the students with a fun film. In fact, it can be used to project a timer, or even basic notes, during in-class exams.

Best of all is the fact that these projectors are portable. Rather than having to buy one for every classroom, administrators can purchase a few to be rented out on a case-by-case basis. This keeps costs low and the number of projectors to maintain will be manageable. The projectors can even be brought into auditoriums for assemblies or to club events that may be off the school's campus. Their uses are endless when it comes to functioning in an educational setting – once teachers have them, they won't be able to go back.

Ten Uses for the Mini Projector

As a business owner, you should want to stay on top of all the technological advancements that are surfacing and take advantage of them as much as possible.  That's why so many corporations are taking advantage of the mini projector, a data projector the size of a smartphone that can easily be transported to wherever one needs to go. Not only are they lightweight and convenient, they have quite a few uses that could benefit any businessperson.

1.    General presentations. From PowerPoint presentations to YouTube videos, mini projectors are easy for on-the-fly presenting that can benefit your employees or a prospective group of clients.
2.    Drive-by advertising. Whether you're setting up a table at a career fair or demonstrating your product in a mall, mini projectors make it easy to give photo or video accompaniment anywhere you go.
3.    Photography. Take photos at a wedding or sporting event? Project them onto a screen to give the subjects a sneak preview before they order them.
4.    Videography. The same as the aforementioned, but with showing or editing videos you took.
5.    Recreation. Organize a fantasy sports league at the office for some after-work fun and use the projector to put the teams up on the board. Make work fun!
6.    Poster-making. If you're making a sign to advertise a product in the store or creating a poster for your next conference, use the projector to project images for tracing onto the posterboard so it will look neat and clean.
7.    Take your Kids to Work Day. Be the location all your employees kids want to visit! Project video games or movies onto the wall and entertain them for hours.
8.    Work Rewards. Hold contests for your employees for highest sales or most deals closed. The winning team gets to take a movie break.
9.    Holiday Parties. The end of the year is the perfect time to review pictures and videos from fun times in the office or at work events. As a special surprise, have your video team put together a work blooper reel!
10.  Working at Home. Sometimes you need to put in a few extra hours. Make it easy to take a presentation home to work on and see how it'll show up on the big screen – or, use it to practice your public speaking in front of an audience of friends.

What Type of Projector Should I Get for my Business?

For many reasons, a having a projector can benefit your business. From visual presentations to conference calls, you'll be amazed at just how much use you'll get out of it. With the evolution of technology, there are so many different kinds of projectors on the market that you might have a difficult time choosing.  It really depends on the nature of your business when choosing the best tool.

Where will you be using the projector?
If you plan on mounting the projector to the ceiling of a certain room, you're probably more concerned with quality than convenience. In this case, go for an HD or LED projector – they have superior image quality, despite being a bit bulkier and more difficult to transport from point A to point B. Keep in mind that LED lights are great for offices because they're low-maintenance – they don't often overheat and don't often require bulb changes.

On the other hand, if you're getting a projector that's meant to be moved from room to room, you're probably better off getting a portable projector. These lightweight models are more easily packed up so you won't have to spend too much time preparing if you don't already have a projector set up.

For what will you be using the projector?
If you're simply going to be showing slideshow presentations on your projector, chances are, you can skimp a bit on image quality for the sake of price. However, if you think you might use it for conference calls and showing videos, it's probably a better bet to go with a higher-end HD model. You'll find that the crystal clear projection is totally worth spending the few extra bucks, and you'll get a lot more mileage out of the product.
