What Type of Projector Should I Get for my Business?

For many reasons, a having a projector can benefit your business. From visual presentations to conference calls, you'll be amazed at just how much use you'll get out of it. With the evolution of technology, there are so many different kinds of projectors on the market that you might have a difficult time choosing.  It really depends on the nature of your business when choosing the best tool.

Where will you be using the projector?

If you plan on mounting the projector to the ceiling of a certain room, you're probably more concerned with quality than convenience. In this case, go for an HD or LED projector – they have superior image quality, despite being a bit bulkier and more difficult to transport from point A to point B. Keep in mind that LED lights are great for offices because they're low-maintenance – they don't often overheat and don't often require bulb changes.

On the other hand, if you're getting a projector that's meant to be moved from room to room, you're probably better off getting a portable projector. These lightweight models are more easily packed up so you won't have to spend too much time preparing if you don't already have a projector set up.

For what will you be using the projector?

If you're simply going to be showing slideshow presentations on your projector, chances are, you can skimp a bit on image quality for the sake of price. However, if you think you might use it for conference calls and showing videos, it's probably a better bet to go with a higher-end HD model. You'll find that the crystal clear projection is totally worth spending the few extra bucks, and you'll get a lot more mileage out of the product.
